What if something arrives damaged?

Crate Inventory, Shipping Damage & Missing Parts

We take great care in packaging every Ekodome geodesic dome kit, but in rare cases, shipping damage can occur. That’s why it’s important to inspect your crates immediately upon delivery.


What to Do When Your Dome Kit Arrives

When your Ekodome dome house kit or greenhouse dome arrives:

  1. Take a full inventory of all parts right away

  2. Carefully inspect for visible damage, especially on the crates or packaging

  3. Photograph any damage or irregularities immediately

  4. Ask the delivery carrier to note the damage on the proof of delivery form

These steps are essential for us to successfully file a claim with the shipping insurance provider. All shipments are insured, but damage claims must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.


Reporting Damaged or Missing Components

If you discover a damaged part or a missing component, please contact us at info@ekodome.com within 30 days.

When emailing, please include:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Product name, dome size, and frame type

  • Photos of any damage, including packaging

For missing parts, we’ll place the items into our manufacturing queue and ship replacements as soon as possible to keep your dome project on track.
