Can I purchase an Ekodome frame-only or panels-only kit?
For safety, compatibility, and performance reasons, we only sell complete dome kits, not individual frames or panel sets for new customers.
Ekodome no longer offers frame-only or panels-only kits for new purchases. All new orders must be placed as complete dome kits, with the correct frame system and panel system paired together. This ensures structural integrity, weather performance, and full compatibility with our engineering standards.
Mixing third-party panels with Ekodome frames, or attempting to source your own materials, creates significant safety and performance risks. For this reason, we no longer separate frame and panel sales for new builds.
Why We Do Not Sell Frame-Only Kits
The frame and panel systems are engineered as a single building envelope.
Selling the frame without the correct panels can lead to:
• improper sealing
• incorrect panel weight and load distribution
• moisture ingress and condensation
• structural performance issues
• safety risks during wind or snow loads
To avoid these issues, frame-only kits are not available for any new orders, whether for Original Hard-Shell Domes, Greenhouse Domes, PRO Domes, or Glass Houses.
Why We Do Not Sell Panels-Only Kits
Ekodome panels (HPL, solid polycarbonate, twinwall polycarbonate, SIPs, and double-pane glass) are precision-engineered to fit our frames only.
They are not universal panels and are not compatible with other dome brands or DIY frames.
Panels are therefore not sold separately, except in the two situations below.
Exceptions: Existing Ekodome Customers
We still support customers who purchased earlier configurations under prior policies.
You may order panels-only if:
• you bought a frame-only kit before this policy change
• you own an Ekodome and need replacement panels
• you are upgrading or repairing an existing dome
If this applies to you, we can manufacture and ship new panels for your specific dome model. Our after-sales team will guide you through what’s compatible.
