Crate Dimensions, Shipping Process & Delivery Tips
Each Ekodome® geodesic dome kit is securely packaged in large wooden shipping crates to ensure safe transportation of the frame, panels, and accessories. The number and size of crates will vary depending on your kit configuration, including:

Dome model and size

Number of doors, windows, and ventilation systems

Type and quantity of cover panels
What to Expect During Delivery
Your dome will be delivered by a freight carrier using a lift-gate truck and pallet jack. However, because crates can be large and heavy, we strongly recommend having your own equipment on-site, such as:

A forklift or skid steer for easier unloading

A team available to assist with crate positioning on your property
Crates are typically delivered curbside, and additional handling beyond that point is the customer’s responsibility.
Picking Up From the New Jersey Warehouse
You may also choose to pick up your order from our New Jersey warehouse, but please note the following:

Loading dock access only. No forklift service is available outside the building

You must arrive with a vehicle that matches dock height

If your truck or trailer bed is not dock-height compatible, you won’t be able to pick up your crate
Not Ready to Receive Delivery?
No problem! If you’re not ready to install your dome or don’t yet have storage space:

You can reschedule delivery for a future date

We’ll safely store your order at our warehouse until you're ready

Please note: Once a delivery is made, returns or recalls are difficult and costly, so plan accordingly
