How are the dome crates and pallets labeled, and how do I check if everything arrived?
How to identify each package and verify that your entire Ekodome kit has been delivered correctly
Your Ekodome kit arrives as multiple oversized crates and cage pallets, each clearly labeled so you can identify what’s inside without opening anything. Because shipments vary by dome category and size, this guide explains exactly what you should expect and how to verify that the full kit has reached your site.
1. How the Packaging Is Organized
Your shipment will include two types of packages:
1. Wooden Crates: Frame & Hardware
• contains all aluminum frame struts, hubs, and hardware
• fully enclosed wood on all sides
• branded with the Ekodome imprint
• labeled “FRAME” or “FRAMEWORK”
• PRO domes may include two wooden crates instead of one due to weight
2. Cage Pallets: Panels
• heavy-duty cage-style pallets
• wrapped in black protective film
• labeled by panel type:
• HPL for hard-shell opaque panels
• SIP for insulated panels
• POLY for polycarbonate panels
• GLASS for double-pane glass
• Each pallet also includes your dome model and size
• If you ordered multiple domes, some parts may be placed inside other pallets to reduce space, this is normal.
2. How to Verify Your Entire Dome Arrived
Before signing the delivery paperwork, do a quick visual check.
A. Count the number of crates and pallets
Your invoice includes a packing list showing:
• total number of crates
• total number of cage pallets
• what each should contain
Compare this list with what’s physically on the truck.
B. Check the labels
Every crate and pallet includes:
• dome model and diameter
• your name or project name
• pallet contents (FRAME / SIP / HPL / POLY / GLASS)
• pallet number if multiple
If something is missing or mislabeled, note it on the delivery receipt before signing.
C. Look for visible damage
If the wood crate looks broken or a cage pallet is visibly bent, punctured, or severely torn:
• take clear photos from multiple angles
• ask the driver to document it as “received damaged”
• contact aftersales@ekodome.com immediately
If the shipment looks normal, you can sign without note.
3. What If Panels Are Inside Another Pallet?
To optimize freight space, our factory sometimes places smaller panel bundles inside a larger pallet. If your count is short by one, don’t panic, the missing set is likely nested inside.
4. After You Receive Everything
We recommend doing a full inventory after unloading:
• open the wooden crate
• confirm frame struts, hubs, and hardware packets
• verify panel counts against your packing list
• check accessories such as vents, windows, doors, and anchors
If anything at all seems off, email aftersales@ekodome.com with:
• photos
• your name
• order number
• packing list
Our team will resolve it quickly.
