Do you offer installation services?

How installation support works, what we provide, and what remains the customer’s responsibility.

We offer several ways to support installation, but Ekodome is not a traditional construction company, and we do not provide full in-house installation services as a standard product. Instead, we offer guidance, supervision, and access to contractors who have experience with our domes, while keeping responsibilities clear and legally safe.

1. Installers We Can Connect You With

Over the years, some independent contractors across the US have installed Ekodomes and are familiar with our system. We can connect you with these contractors upon request, but:
• They are not employees of Ekodome
• We do not supervise or control their work
• We cannot guarantee workmanship, pricing, schedules, or outcomes

You evaluate them, hire them directly, and maintain your relationship with them just as you would with any local builder.

2. Using Your Own Contractor (Recommended)

Many customers prefer using a contractor they already know and trust. This is often the best option.

If you choose your own contractor, we support them by:
• Providing manuals, diagrams, and video references
• Holding a pre-installation Zoom training session
• Reviewing questions, platform prep, sealing methods, anchoring logic
• Staying available during business hours while they build

This approach gives you control over liability and quality while ensuring the installer understands our system.

3. On-Site Supervision (Offered by Ekodome)

If you want additional reassurance during the build, we can send a member of our team to supervise assembly. This is not an installation service; it is on-site guidance.

Supervision includes:
• Checking the platform before assembly begins
• Guiding the sequence of frame and panel installation
• Helping prevent common mistakes
• Advising on sealing and finishing steps

Supervision is billed at a daily rate, plus travel and lodging. The supervising team member does not act as the contractor. The local crew still performs the physical work and carries the installation liability.

4. Full Installation Performed by Ekodome (Rare and Project-Specific)

In certain cases, such as high-value projects or architectural builds, we may accept full installation with our in-house crew. This depends entirely on:
• Schedule availability
• Project scope
• Location
• Staffing
• Travel feasibility

When available, our installation service is billed at our standard daily crew rate, calculated according to scope of work and prevailing wages in project location, plus travel and lodging.

5. What’s Not Covered

For clarity and legal safety, customers and contractors are responsible for:
• The platform or foundation
• Anchoring hardware selection
• Correct sealing at the base
• Site drainage
• Following manuals and instructions
• Any modifications made on-site

Unauthorized changes or incorrect installation practices are outside our control.
